In the manga its pretty much implied they'll get together Plus there is the whole, him being super connected to Mamoru.. ya know those moon girls really have a thing for earth boys
She even cried when Helios leaves, even praying that Helios will be her prince in the future when they meet again.. when shes a real lady AND a maiden sent him one that looks mysteriously like ChibiUsa grown up.. She promises to meet him again in the future. (they even shared that oh so romantic kiss that changed her crystal to the pink moon crystal )She only kissed Pereru on the cheek...
Like I said, Pereru are really cute together ( I think they look cuter than Helios to me), but Helios and chibiusa are so meant to be
I'm not attacking your shipping though, I can't speak, I love Haruka and Usagi
No problem, I never thought you were attacking my ship. But honestly, I can't stand the manga. Chibiusa's characterization is so inconsistent it's annoying. Not only that. There are so many flaws and lack of character development/plot development that I gave up on it after the first few chapters of Stars. I go by the anime.
She cries when Helios leaves, yes... I always thought that meant she was doubtful of his return. Peruru cried a little when he had to leave, but Chibiusa very happily told him she would see him again, suggesting that she knows he has work to do, but she also knows he will return. It annoyed me to no end the manner in which Helios left Chibiusa. Basically it was "Okay, Neherenia's gone now, which means I don't have to hide myself in your beautiful dream anymore. I have to go do my own thing in Elysion. See ya, bye!" If they were meant to be, he could have found a way to stay with Chibiusa. He literally leaves her dreams and literally leaves her in the physical world. Peruru leaves her in the physical world but tells her he will be there in her dreams. Besides, personality-wise, Helios and Chibiusa really aren't a match. And there are a lot of instances in their relationship where it's clear that understanding between them isn't mutual.
Helios and Chibiusa... so not a good couple, IMO. But like you said, it's stupid to get huffy and attack people over pairings in a series that ended almost 20 years ago. We're left grasping at the straws figuring out who goes with who, and we'll never know, so you might as well put whoever you want together.
haha youre right I thikn its ridiculous when I see people go off.. its like ' thanks for making people who watch anime look so retarded' I really really think that Peruru and chibi usa are SO much cuter.. they're just like adorable kids.. i dunno, its just plain adorable. In the anime I always did find Pegasus a bit rash, and a bit too distant towards chbiusa.. you think that he'd be more trusting of someone who he's hiding in the dreams of Nt only that, I was TOTALLY weirded out how he blushed when chibiusa took off her shirt, it was like WTF DUDE WHY ARE YOU BLUSHING OVER 9 YEAR OLD!?!?
Wow. What a stupid comment. "Is he from the american version cuz that version suckz..." Do you think the animators made a specific "American" version? Everything in Sailor Moon is overdubbed, so no, Peruru is a character from the Japanese version. And responding to your other idiotic comment, it isn't confirmed that Chibiusa is with Helios. Whether she ends up with Helios, Peruru, Hotaru, or someone else entirely, we'll never know. So stop being an asshole and don't comment if you don't like it.
What the...? When did I say anything about Seiya, moron? Regardless, my guess is that you hate Seiya because he showed interest in Usagi. I really don't care what ships you like and I don't need some 10-year-old kid irrelevantly responding to my comments out of the blue. Beat it.
Actually, not even that is set in stone. The anime gave us Seiya/Usagi, showing that Usagi is MOSTLY with Mamoru because he's still there. If a TRUE crisis ever was to come around, and a good enough man showed up - or woman as the series is known for its canon AND implied lesbian relationships (and let's face it Seiya/Usagi can be whichever you want), she might not wait up. Then you have Pluto's infatuation with Endymion and the conspiracy theories about where Chibiusa's red eyes came from.
So no, not even Usagi/Mamoru's set in stone xD; I just wish that if they went about to base something like Helios/Chibiusa, that they wouldn't go about breaking it so bluntly with Peruru without a good reason. Usagi/Seiya had a good reason and it spanned over an entire season. Chibiusa/Peruru was like "Helios who?" Rather a short period of time after they parted. So it really makes Chibiusa look bad.
(sorry to butt in.. but just had to pipe up that chibi usa is supposed to resemble a albino rabbit.. it was a pun by Naoko red eyes, pink hair.. bunny ear odango, get it? all fits together sorry again )
I guess if you look at it that way, anything's fair game. It's better that way. It makes the fandom more fun.
I never saw it as Chibiusa looking bad. I saw it more as Chibiusa in character. Sure she spent time with Helios, but he was the one to make pretty much every move in the relationship. After she said something along the lines of "girls should find their prince on their own," I think it was kind of out of character for her just to wait around for Helios. She really didn't wait around for Peruru. Just my take on things though.
It just makes her that much more of a player, in my book, not waiting for either of them. But when all is said and done, despite being almost a millenia old, Chibiusa's still a kid. I'd have preferred it if they just spared us the romantic aspect of her story altogether xD
Hm. Well I think her relationship with Peruru was similar in that way. Badianu was capturing children under the guise of bringing them to a land where they would never have to grow up. Peruru, though a child himself, rejected these views and fought against his master, understanding that it is natural to grow up and lose some of your innocence, but it should be done alongside the people you love. That's the major theme in the Super S Movie. Meeting Chibiusa (and possibly feeling love for the first time hiself) obviously influenced his change of heart. Though she had been with Helios, Chibiusa wasn't grown. Helios was mature, but Chibiusa remained a child. (Only children fell under Badianu's spell.) In the end, Peruru's promise to watch over children as they grew up and began to lose their innocence (sugar energy) as opposed to capturing their dreams for Badianu like he had been forced to do showed that he was maturing greatly, and his promise to always be in Chibiusa's dreams (and that she would always be in his) suggests that the two would grow up together and overcome trials as a pair. With Helios, Chibiusa would struggle to grow up alone. Sure, Helios would be there for her to give her advice and guide her, but that makes him a teacher to her, and the understanding between them isn't mutual. A relationship in which both parties are both connecting on a personal level and contributing equally is much stronger. And since they would both be growing up, the depth of their romantic relationship changing appropriately with age (instead of Chibiusa/Helios's dumping romance on a child,) it's a balanced and healthy relationship. The kind revered in the Sailor Moon world, but achieved by no other couple.
...Wow, that's a lot of text. Sorry to drop all of that info on you.
